Paul and Celia Feng were baptized together on March 23, 2014. They met the Kentlands Ward sister missionaries at the Quince Orchard Library when they needed help with a computer, and began investigating the church after that. What impressed them most was the sincerity of our religion. They began to notice that we are not just a Sunday worshipping people! And so they decided to join the church! Andrew Shen conducted the service with the mother son duo Richard and Sarah Huang providing the music. Sister Charlotte Shen gave a talk on baptism, and then Elder Lim performed the ordinance for Paul, and Elder Gerber-Kai baptized Celia. Then Elder Wang gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, and it was conferred upon Celia right afterwards, since she would be leaving for Boston that week. There was a warm welcome to the branch by President Shen, welcome to the Elders Quorum by Charles Huang, and then a welcome to the Relief Society by Meili Shen. The closing prayer was offered by Helen He. Paul was confirmed the following week by Andrew Shen in Sacrament Meeting. We are so excited to have this amazing couple join our branch!
