A week prior to the actual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, our branch celebrated with a dinner social. The evening was planned by Adam and Sophy Fugal, with Adam serving as our distinguished emcee. Over 100 people enjoyed the potluck dinner. The program began with a presentation by Sisters So and Liou, who taught us about the Chinese character for love and how true love comes from the heart. Then Elders Wang, Liang, Chang, and Shih sang "City Moonlight" 《城里的月光》 as a trio/quartet with Elder Chang at the piano. Brother Andy Zhong played "The Tune of Four Seasons" 《四季调》 on the violin, accompanied by his son, 钟庆坤 Zhong Qing Kun, on the electric guitar. Adam and Sophy favored us with a special duet, singing "It's Quite Sweet to Have a Dream" 《有梦好甜蜜》. After the program, we all enjoyed eating mooncakes and socializing.
