Today after church meetings at 11:30am in the Primary room, we were privileged to witness the baptism of Sister Lingjuan Shen 申玲娟. She was baptized by President Da Zhao and confirmed by his counselor, Brother Jason Liu, in the same meeting. Sisters Meili Shen and Ella Chong shared brief talks on baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost, respectively. Sisters Wang Peie and Betty Hsueh offered the invocation and benediction, respectively. After the confirmation, Sister Shen was welcomed into the Relief Society by Sister Li-Fang Tsai and into the branch by Brother Jason Liu. Elder Allen and Sister Michelle Zheng served as the pianist and music leader, respectively. Brother Benjamin Tsai conducted the baptism.
Sister Shen was joined in attendance by her husband and son and daughter today. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this special event with Sister Shen. Congratulations to Sister Lingjuan Shen on becoming the newest member of our branch.
