 我們邀請您和您的家人參加我們今年的新年晚會，晚會將於二零一七年二月四日星期六晚上六時至八時在華盛頓支聯會中心舉行，地址 是10000 Stoneybrook Drive, Kensington, MD 20895。晩餐由六時開始。

在晚餐後，我們會欣賞一些文化節目。 請您攜帶一道菜與大家分享。 我們希望你能跟我們一起迎接雞年。

 Members and friends of the Montgomery Chinese Branch,

 We would like to invite you and your family to join us at the Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 6pm to 8pm at the Washington DC Stake Center at 10000 Stoneybrook Drive, Kensington, MD 20895. The dinner will start at 6pm. After the dinner, we will enjoy the festive cultural program.  The dinner will be potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

Baptism of Jacob Yang 01/10/17

Two months after the baptism of his mother, Ruth Chang, Jacob Yang was baptized tonight by Elder Packer. Over 30 family and friends attended tonight's baptismal service including Jacob's father and other family members. Conducted by Brother Da Zhao, talks were given about baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost by Adam Fugal and Cary Ning, respectively. Brother Ning also welcomed Jacob to the Young Men and invited Brother Eric Martinis, Kentlands Ward Scoutmaster and Deacon Quorum Advisor to come up to welcome Jacob to Scouts. Brother Zhao then welcomed Jacob to the Branch. Congratulations on your baptism tonight, Jacob!

Youth Ice Skating

On a drizzly cloudy day, 14 skaters gathered to ice skate at the Rockville Ice Arena. Eight youth, four adults, and two children skated happily for two hours. The activity concluded with a pizza and salad lunch at the home of Brother Patrick Shen.
