Sister Chloe Ge has had an amazing spiritual transformation since she decided to join the church back in March 10, 2019 by herself. Since then, she continues to be faithful despite being the only member in her family. During high school she requested to receive her patriarchal blessing and managed the process largely by herself.
Then in her junior year of her high school, she approached President Zhao about receiving her own temple endowment. Due to church policy, members are only allowed to received their own endowment after high school graduation. So in preparation, President Zhao consulted with the Young Women President, Sister Huffaker, to gathered a group of endowed members to start teaching her towards the end of her senior year. Due to her tight schedule with graduation and going back to visit China immediately after her graduation, some of her lessons were taught over Zoom. However, during the Summer of 2025, there was increased geopolitical tension between US and China and the young women president and branch president felt it was safer to wait until Chloe returned to US to resume teaching her, by which point she was moving to Philadelphia to attend school at the University of Pennsylvania.
After months of teaching temple lessons, her faith did not waiver, and she was ready to enter the temple. On October 10, 2025, she finally entered the Washington DC Temple to receive her own endowment. Sister Ella Chong was her escort. It was a beautiful session with many members supporting her at her endowment.
