On the first baptismal service of 2026 for the Montgomery Branch, snow threatened to fall in the morning of January 18. Fortunately, the snow became all rain, and church services were held as scheduled. At 11:30am, Brother Benjamin Tsai conducted the baptismal service of Brother Wurui Wang. President Da Zhao presided at the service. The music was provided by the pianist, Sister Li-Fang Tsai, and the music leader, Sister Sophy Fugal. The prayers were offered by Sister Allen and Brother Lizhong Huang. After the talk on baptism was given by Sister Changping Feng, Elder Baclayon braved the cold water and baptized Brother Wang. After singing hymns by the congregation, Sister Betty Azucena spoke on the gift of the Holy Ghost. Brother Wesley Wei confirmed Brother Wang a new member of the church and bestowed upon him the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then Brother Wei welcomed Brother Wang to the Elders Quorum. Brother Ryan Frewin then welcomed Brother Wang as the newest member of the Branch.
