On June 5, a bright sunny Saturday, the Primary children and their parents gathered at Butler’s Orchard. At 9am, the primary children were ready to go in the orchard and pick sweet fresh strawberries. Some families brought their own buckets to carry the strawberries, and some borrowed boxes from the farm. We were assigned a few rows of strawberries that we could pick from, and after the prayer, the activity began. Many kids and their families could not wait, and started eating while they were picking. Because the weather was so warm, by 11am, we were full from strawberries. Some people picked some more to buy from the orchard, and the children left satisfied from the strawberries.
