General Conference

Each year, it seems like General Conference becomes better and more relevant.  This conference was no exception.  Our church leaders instructed in topics ranging from the atonement and service to marriage and the family.  Some general themes included giving service, strengthening families and marriages, and preparing for missionary work.  Before the Priesthood Session, the priesthood brethren gathered for ice cream brought by Brother Theodore.  In addition, between the two sessions on Sunday, some of the members gathered together for lunch.  Families brought their own lunch, and the branch provided fruit and sweets.  Food aside, it is certain that everyone will need and want to review the wonderful messages spoken at General Conference this year in the church magazines and online on the internet.
