Baptism of Sarah Song

Over 60 friends and branch members and relatives of Sarah Song had the honor of attending her baptism today.  Having both of her parents in town, and graced with the presence of her elderly friends (Brother Foulger, Brother & Sister Jewel), she chose to be baptized on this special day.  With Brother Mu conducting, Alice Huang and Sid Foulger talked about baptism and the Holy Ghost, respectively.  After the baptism talk, Elder McLane baptized Sarah.  After everyone wrote letters to Sarah, both Elder McLane and Sarah said a few words, expressing their feelings about the special occasion.  Sister Jones welcomed Sarah to the Young Women, and President Shen welcomed Sarah to the branch.  The young women and leaders sang a special rendition of "As Sisters in Zion" to Sarah.  Afterwards, we enjoyed refreshment and socializing in the cultural hall, as we congratulated Sarah.  Welcome to the branch, and congratulations, Sarah.
