After a few months without a Mandarin temple session, one was finally held on May 31, 2014. A Primary activity was planned in concert with the temple activity, so that parents of young children could attend the temple. President Shen, Sister Pugmire, and the Young Women watched over the kids. In the temple we were privileged to congregate in the chapel for a pre-endowment message. David Chang conducted the meeting, and James Mu shared a spiritual message. Then President Bryan spoke about yokes and covenants. Then we were dismissed to participate in a Mandarin endowment session. It was an amazing feeling of Zion, where we rejoiced to see so many Mandarin-speaking Saints in the temple at the same time. It was a pleasant surprise to see Bruce Dean and Steve Hilton, long time friends of the branch, lead the session. What an amazing experience.
