Today was a double header for the Bates family. Jeremy blessed their newborn daughter, Francesca, during our fast and testimony meeting. She slept through the entire blessing.
After church, the baptism of Julius Bates took place in the Primary Room. Jeremy's dad, John Bates, talked on the importance of baptism, after which Jeremy baptized Julius. Jeremy's stepmother spoke on the gift of the Holy Ghost. Jeremy then confirmed Julius a member of the church. Congratulations to the Bates family for Julius' baptism and Francesca's baby blessing!
