2023-04-02 Primary Easter Activity

On the morning of April 2 from 9:30 to 11:00, the primary children from Montgomery Branch excitedly participated in a range of fun Easter theme activities. At the beginning of the activity, children were first gathering around the art and craft table led by our primary president and counselor sister Fugal and sister Xu. They were provided with art materials such coloring papers, glues, crayons, scissors to decorate their own Easter bags. Addition to that, children also made bunnies from tangerine and carrots with the assistance from missionaries and parents.
Next, the children were involved in an Easter egg hunt. Since it was raining that morning, our egg hunt was happening inside the church building. Daniel and Joanna had hidden dozens of colorful eggs around the church hallway and classrooms.
The finale of primary activity was the making of resurrection rolls from marshmallow and crescent rolls under the direction from our sisters missionaries. The older primary children ended the activity with the treasure hunt.
Thank you Ophelia, Bailey, little Emily, Jessica, Grayson, Sunnya, Lucy, Luffy, Alison and Jacob for coming. It wouldn’t be a successful primary activity without you children. Thank you parents for bringing your children, sister Cui for inviting little Emily and her mom, brother Johnson for bringing Lucy and Luffy, and to our youth Daniel, Aaron, Joanna and all of the volunteers for your help that day. Last but not least, thank you to brother Wei for taking so many beautiful pictures that you see here. It was wonderful to see how happy our children were that day.
