 The youth had an awesome first activity of the year. The young women made some really artistic photo frames for themselves while the young men did the 'dollar dash' activity where they all went to the Dollar Store buy an item to share and vote on the best purchase. Everyone had a lot of fun!

2023-01-05 Youth Proxy Baptism Activity at the DC Temple

 The Montgomery Branch youth joined with the Kentland's Youth to go to the DC Temple to do Proxy Baptisms for the Dead. It was a great activity with a big turn out. Chloe was able to bring her great-grandparent's names to be baptized. What an awesome way to start off the year!

2023-01-02 Youth Ice Skating at Rockville Town Square

 Today, the youth went ice skating outdoors- organized by our wonderful leaders and branch presidency, thank you very much by the way! The rink was very crowded before and during the event, but luckily there weren’t any huge crashes (from our group, anyway- the other skaters probably had a different story to tell- I can remember two different types of wipe outs). The weather was perfect and we skated for around two hours, which definitely showed in my feet afterwards, although that could have just been because of the skates. Overall, it was a lot of fun to meet up with the other youth and struggle to find our balance, definitely an activity to do again sometime (but only when my feet have recovered).   -Amelia Ly
