On this the first baptismal service of 2015, our branch was naturally pretty excited about the baptism of Brother Quanqi Song. His daughter, Sarah, and his wife, Sharon, were both baptized in 2013. Our mission leader, Jameson Fox, conducted the service. Sister Sarah Song and Brother Benjamin Tsai shared talks on baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost, respectively. Then Brother Patrick Shen performed the baptism for Brother Song. During the interlude, Elders Yang and Chang played "Our Savior's Love" on the violin and piano. President Charles Huang welcomed Brother Song into the branch, and our Elders Quorum President, Steven Cheng, welcomed him into the Elders Quorum. The room was full with some left standing. A few friends from outside the branch also attended. Brother Song's decision to be baptized allows his whole family to move forward and progress as a family in the gospel. We welcome Brother Quanqi Song as the newest member of our branch.
