Farewell for Elder Isaiah Shen

2022 年 7月 24 日在Kentlands 教堂的安息日聚會上，將於 ８月 22 日前往夏威夷檀香山傳教服務的沈道元長老在聖餐聚會演講，同一時間沈王光蓉姊妹與沈周玫琍姊妹也在會上為神在世上的傳道事工做見證。在主日崇拜聚會結束後 ，於初級會房間舉行了為沈道元傳道踐行的爐邊聚會。會中邀請了Bendall 弟兄 ，Bates 弟兄及沈維新弟兄短講 ，聚會在成員們拍照與享用家人準備的簡易餐點後結束。

On Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the Kentlands Chapel, Elder Isaiah Shen, who will be going to Honolulu, Hawaii, to start his missionary service on August 22, gave a talk in Sacrament Meeting. Before his talk, his sister, Emerald Woodward, his mother, Meili Shen, and his grandmother, Charlotte Shen, also shared testimonies about missionary work in the world. After the Sunday worship service, a fireside meeting was held in the Primary room for Elder Shen. Brothers Dan Bendall, Jeremy Bates, and Andrew Shen were invited to give short talks. The meeting ended after the members took pictures and enjoyed a simple meal prepared by Branch families.

Elder Isaiah Shen was set apart on July 31 as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He began his missionary training virtually on Aug.1 and entered the Missionary Training Center-Provo on August 10th. He will depart for Honolulu, HI on August 22.
