Thanks to the help of our wonderful members, this year's Christmas Party was a success.
Special thanks to our brothers who helped setting up and serving food. Jason and I braved the early morning trip to Costco as we were serving American food for the party this year. We served pulled pork, roasted chicken, honey honey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans with bacon and dinner rolls for dinner.
We not only had new friends joining us for the evening. We had a special guest Santa Claus visit us again. Brother Jewel graciously offered to show up as Santa for our party. It brought back so many memories for the years in the past when members took pictures with Santa every year during the Christmas party. I even found the picture back in 2006 when Brennan was two.
Sophy and Liz did a wonderful job organizing the youth to play a few hymns when the Primary performed the nativity story. The choir sang "The Drummer Boy" followed by the fun session of picture taking with our beloved Santa Claus - Brother Jewel.
Before the end of the party, we also enjoyed the nativity show with lighting and beautiful narration setup by Kentland members.
I am grateful that everyone helped out cleaning up after the party which made the cleanup time a lot shorter. Another successful Christmas Party is in the books.
