The Twin Lakes Branch graciously invited our branch members to attend their branch's 5th annual camping trip at the Shenandoah River State Park. As 18 members from our branch, including 8 children, accepted the invitation. The happy campers arrived late after 6pm, instead of the original 5pm starting time. Campsites were reserved at both the campground and the RV site. After pitching tents and eating dinner, everyone congregated at a shelter to watch "Meet the Mormons" at 9pm.
The next day, we gathered at the same shelter to enjoy breakfast together. Over 60 people attended. In the afternoon, the group went rafting down the Shenandoah River. However, none of our branch members attended because of the Montgomery Branch Games Night that evening.
We thank the Twin Lakes Branch for their thoughtful invitation. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fun.
